Severn Bridge 10K 2019
25 August 2019
UPDATE - anybody entering after 09:30 on the 19th August 2019 will need to collect their race packs on the day or Saturday between 10:00 - 15:30.
UPDATE - the ability to swap distance online is now closed. The reason is that we have printed and prepared numbers for existing entries which are being posted next week. You can still swap on the morning of the race.
The Severn Bridge 10k and Half Marathon start on the Western (Chepstow) end of the M48 and cross the closed Severn Bridge. The 10k and Half Marathon start in different places and different times but both end at the same finish point in the event village. The Half starts at 9:00am and the 10k at 10:00am.
Both events suit first timers and experienced club runners alike, and provide something a bit different from your average half marathon or 10k: stunning views, sea air, scenic country lanes and villages and the opportunity to participate in a unique running event on a closed motorway and across the iconic Severn Bridge. Full course details can be found Course details.
We have a UKA permit for both the 10k and Half Marathon - this will mean that your performance will appear in the PoT and Run Britain databases.
The courses have been measured and certified as accurate by an accredited course measurer.
There is easy access to the race event base (used for both events) and car park from junction 2 of the M48. For early entrants there is ample parking within a couple of minutes walk of the changing area, baggage store and start. Train and bus stations are situated in Chepstow, a short distance from the event village.
CAR PARKING IS LIMITED BUT EVERYONE WILL GET FREE PARKING.
